He who knows others is wise, he who knows himself is enlightened :). Yep Yep, my September was so philosophical.
My favorites in September, however, are not quite as philosophical, but extremely emotional. I don’t know if you felt September to be a very emotional month. If you think back now, maybe you were sad more often or asked yourself who you are, what you want and what you are doing here? And this especially in the period of 10-15 September? I was like that and so was my environment. So if you felt or feel the same way, you are definitely not alone.
You can learn more about this here: Moon – Horoscope.
But now let´s focus on my monthly favorites.
1. Game Changers – the movie that can change your life
On the 16th I was at the movie premiere of “Game Changers”. I haven’t been to the movies for more than two years. But this movie was at the top of my list of priorities. And I wasn’t disappointed: The film definitely showed that there is hope. Hope for us, for our health and especially for our planet. If you haven’t heard of the film yet, I can only warmly recommend that you watch it.
2.Wanderlust Festival Garmisch-Partenkirchen
Yeahii, finally!! The real wanderlust, as it is known from the USA, was in Germany. Wanderlust is the festival dedicated to mindfulness, yoga, meditation, outdoor activities and entertainment, all on foot from mountains in the middle of nature in Bavaria. At least it was like that this time.
It was a weekend of slowing down and grounding. Only one thing I missed at the festival, the vegan food selection. But I have already given the feedback and hope for more next year.
My dear Friederike was also there with me. Check out her travel blog if you don’t know it yet. Disclaimer: The post is not paid for, but the costs for Wanderlust were paid by Adidas.
3. Shut up, head! A self-care book for days when chocolate cake is not enough.
I’m so proud! My friend Lisa has launched her second book and I am allowed to read it. Since I only got it yesterday, and I’m printing my own second book today, I have to wait a few more days to read it. However, I flew over it immediately when I was allowed to hold it in my hands and am already very enthusiastic now. We certainly all know the fight to get all things under one hat at the same time. Perfect grades, my job, my studies, working out regularly and, above all, doing justice to the “unrealistic #RelationshipGoals, #FriendshipGoals, and #BodyGoals”. We really don’t need all that pressure. And here comes Lisa. She shows us how to cope with all these expectations and requirements without being on the verge of a burnout.
