When I look at the month of May 2021, it was pretty sad. We had 28 days of rain and 3 days of sun. My mood was as changeable as the weather. But actually also quite good to have not only sunshine in life. So you can enjoy the sunshine again more when it is back. My health makes me just more to create than I thought. What happened I share here on Youtube. I would also like to recommend my Soulfood Cheesecake, which helps me always and with everything :). Let’s take a look at what happened last month. Here are my favorites May 2021.
what I have been busy within May
what I learned in May
what I watched in May
what I listened to in May
Actually, I have the category that I bought. Since I only bought some baking stuff and food in May, I will replace it with “what I learned or what I was busy with”.
What I dealt with in May 2021 – Vulvodynia
I’ve known about it for a long time but didn’t know there was a term and diagnosis for it. Vulvodynia is a condition where the vulva is extremely sensitive. Many women suffer from discomfort in the intimate area. Most of the time, the discomfort is difficult to diagnose. Vulvodynia can cause pain so severe that sex is not even conceivable. It burns, touching is unpleasant, wearing underwear is disturbing. Causes can be different for each woman: injury, nerve damage, neurological causes, inflammation due to viruses, sexual trauma, sexual pain. I will do more on this topic, but in advance, I would like to recommend the book “The Wild Feminine”.
What I learned in May 2021 – Ecodemy my nutritionist
I have let my nutritionist slide a lot lately. I signed up almost 2 years ago and have been taking tests sporadically every now and then. Now finally the last two before the final exam is coming up. I really like the training. If you want, you can learn a lot and for me, it is definitely worth the money. Just because you can take away so much for yourself, even if you don’t want to go into consulting. You can find more about my training here. If you complete your training through my link, I get a small commission. Everyone who has signed up can get this commission. For you, of course, the price remains the same.
What I watched in May 2021
I myself do not own Netflix. My boyfriend, however, does :). So this month I got a taste for Netflix and watched Ginny & Georgia together with Fedor. I think this series is great because it covers so many current topics. It’s about a mother-daughter relationship and drama and all the emotions that go with it. Besides that, topics like racism, self-love or self-hate, injustice as well as mental health issues. On the LGBTQ is somewhat taken up.
What I Heard in May 2021 – Podcast Recommendation
In this episode on Jay Shetty’s podcast On Purpose, Liz Plosser talks about how sacred tomorrow is to her. It’s her me-time! She is the editor-in-chief of Women’s Health magazine and places a lot of value on her mental health. I find the episode a beautiful and friendly reminder to always be aware of our consumerism. #OwnyourMorning.
