Goodbye March 2019, hello April 2019. It went really fast. But now we can finally welcome spring! 🙂 As usual, I’ve reviewed March 2019. Did you realize some of your goals or dreams in the last month? From my own experience, I can say that sometimes it can be something very small and still have a big effect.
For example, I write diaries every morning and every evening. I am always aware of how much clarity this gives me. Not necessarily while I write it down, but rather in the course of the following time. It doesn’t necessarily mean that it has to be something great to make us happy. Happiness can often be found in the little things. Recently, for example, I let a couple go ahead at the supermarket checkout. Both of them were so grateful that they almost didn’t want to stop to say thank you. After that incident, both, the two of them and I were in a good mood. That is why my first monthly favorite is not materialistic this time.
1. IT’S THE LITTLE THINGS THAT MAKE THE BIG THINGS HAPPEN
It can be a small gesture or a simple favor as you can see in my example above. When I thought about my monthly fav this little gesture came into my mind. You can do something every day to increase your happiness. And these events are really lasting, you can really live on them for a long time. In contrast, “material things” are often no guarantee for lasting happiness, individual positive events enrich our lives even more.
2. FEEL YOUR FLOW
I recently uploaded a story on hormonal imbalances and irregular periods on Instagram. And your feedback was outstanding. It seems to me that there are more people with the same “problem”. I saved the story in my highlights in case you missed it. One day later my friend Katja contacted me. Katja is a wonderful person, who designed my book Buddha Bowls – A bowl full of happiness, which unfortunately is only available in English. Now she has just launched her own project, and it couldn’t fit any better. Katja created a menstruation cycle calendar. With that calendar, you can see your particularly productive times to better understand your hormonal fluctuations. Here you can support their crowdfunding and learn more about it. I don’t know if there is a similar planer in the English language, but I thought it would be a good idea to share it with you.
3. CAULIFLOWER RICE
I’ve been waiting for this for so long and now it’s finally here. Cauliflower rice has made it onto the shelves of the German supermarkets 🙂 Isn’t this cool? And isn’t it even cooler, if I tell you that it is organic, fair and sustainable? Because followfood has launched an initiative to save the soil. This means that between five and fifty cents per sold followfood product will benefit farmers who, like followfood, are committed to continuously improving organic agriculture. The aim is to support regenerative agriculture, and thus to cultivate healthy soils in the long term.
The cauliflower rice is now available at Edeka and Rewe. Broccoli rice is also available as an alternative. Among the new products is also the Pizza Verdura Vegan (with spelt base, without cheese but lots of organic vegetables).
Do you have any favorites this March 2019?
