New Year, new favorites, new goals? Not really, however, here I have some of my January favorites for you. I am actually not setting myself new and more structured goals. For me, it’s all about the vision „to LOVE the PROCESS“. If someone asks me where I see myself in 5 years, my answer is: exactly where I am in 5 years. That’s always a little bit unsatisfying for the interviewer. However, in the end, everyone wants to be happy, right? During that month I was especially happy about these 3 occurrences:
VlY – pea protein-based milk alternative
As you may already know, my boyfriend started a business.
May I present, the new pea protein-based milk alternative that guarantees an unbelievable taste, an amazing foam on your coffee or simply a huge amount of protein. Moreover, this vegan milk is nut-, soy-, lactose- and allergen-free and from the 31st of January on, in 3 different variants available at Berlin Edeka stores. When you are not living in Berlin you can get a hold on the white power online at vlyfoods.com.
Pea protein may not sound very pleasant, its taste and nutrients, however, will convince you. And I am not saying that because of my emotional connection, I have the evidence :). On the 25th and 26th of January, at the Vegginale, the VlY team sold their milk for the very first time. And we couldn’t have imagined a better start: they have been SOLD OUT and the feedback has been terrific.
P.S.: The milk also has incredible frothing properties.
Inside Bill’s Brain: Decoding Bill Gates – documentary series
For this series, it has been really worth „turning on“ Netflix. I have only seen part 1 and 2 as yet. However, I definitively wanna see the third part, too. Bill Gates, the co-founder of Microsoft, speaks about his childhood, career and his commitment to improving peoples lifes in developing countries. Such documentaries show yet again what we all are capable of and motivate me even more.
Grün und Glücklich – Episode vegan – do it right (only German yet, but English Blogpost will follow)
Your feedback is amazing. I thank, thank you so much for that. In case you haven’t heard this episode yet and are feeling overwhelmed by the flood of information on a plant-based diet, I can highly recommend it. Do you ask yourself whether or not a vegan diet is really healthy and you can enjoy soy recklessly and what you should supplement? You are frequently suffering from a stomach ache or other symptoms you don’t have an explanation for and you would like to learn how a perfect diet may look like? Jehu, you can find the answers to all these questions here: vegan aber richtig – jetzt wird aufgeklärt mit Niko Rittenau.
